The Gwent Bibliotherapy Scheme recommends two books for the issue of bereavement.

William Kroen's "Helping Children Overcome the Loss of a Loved One" is a book for the parents of grieving children. The book offeres practical advice on answering children's questions and helping them work through the grieving process.

Pat Mood and Lesley Whittaker provide us with a workbook in "Finding a Way Through when Someone Close to You has Died". It states on the cover that it is a workbook by young people, for young people and is both written and illustrated by young people who have experienced the death of someone close to them. Aswell as being beneficial to children it would also be a useful guide for families to work through or for adults who wanted a greater understanding into how children and teenagers experience bereavement.
